Patrick Houle

Pat Houle’s rowing career began as a freshman at Glastonbury High School, where he quickly developed a passion for the sport. He went on to row at the University of Rhode Island from 2006 to 2010. After graduating, Pat began his coaching journey back at Glastonbury High School as the Head Varsity Girls Coach, where he led the program from 2011 to 2014. In his final season as head coach, Pat’s varsity squad won the 2014 Connecticut State Championship.

In 2016, he relocated to Boston and took on the role of Head Varsity Girls Coach at Hingham High School. Over the years, his leadership has expanded to the position of Program Director of HHSRA and shifted his focus to developing the novice rowers within the girls' program. Under his guidance, the Hingham Novice Girls have captured three consecutive Massachusetts State Championship titles (2022-2024).

In addition to his coaching career, Pat is a dedicated fifth-grade teacher in the Canton public school system.
