Lisa Manning

Lisa rowed at Great Bay Rowing in high school, continuing at UNH only for a year, before switching to coxing. While she loved sitting in bow pair feeling the synchronized swing of the boat surging toward bow with each stroke, she couldn’t help but think how much she would love to be able to sit in the coxswain’s seat and strategize how best to move the boat and guide all the rowers together — so she switched to coxing and absolutely loved being the voice of the boat. Her continued love of coxing has added a unique perspective to our coaching staff — and you can occasionally see her out on the water coxing with HMC!
