The Hingham High School Rowing Association is always looking for talented coaches to manage, motivate and lead our successful high school rowing teams.

Love athletics, water and Hingham? Contact Hingham High School Rowing. You provide leadership, motivation and maturity, we will provide professional development and technical training.

A Hingham High School Rowing Coach will be a leader / coach who is focused on the development and maintenance of the ‘good vibes’ and tradition of excellence present in rowing at Hingham High School. S/he will generate the enthusiasm as a member of the coaching staff servicing over 100 high school athletes. S/he will work with an active, experienced and invested board and Program Director. The HHSRA Rowing Coach will be a coach for the Hingham High rowing program. Hingham High currently has several boys coaches and girls coaches – novice, junior varsity and varsity levels.

The ideal candidate is organized, optimistic, engaged and works exceptionally well with teams. The position reports to the HHSRA Program Director, who values positive energy and a can-do problem-solving attitude. This person will be a leader and mentor to student athletes, promote and assist coaches in the creation of strong coaching plans, and develop crews into racing form for fall and spring regattas. S/he is well supported by an active board, boatman, and a late model rowing fleet and equipment, budget and town facilities that support the fall and spring racing seasons as well as a winter training program.
