MANDATORY PARENT MEETING MARCH 7TH

Dear Parents,

We will be opening up registration for Spring Crew in a couple of weeks and wanted to make sure you hold Wednesday, March 7th on your calendars for an important Parent-Only meeting with the teams’ coaches about Spring Crew expectations.

The spring season is our more competitive season with shorter sprint races where we aim to win a State Championship. The logistics of running the crew team are quite complicated and are highly dependent upon parental support.

On Wednesday evening March 7th, the coaches will be addressing the parents about the expectations they have for the spring season, ranging from full attendance at practices and regattas (can’t row if we’re missing an athlete in the boat) to regatta hospitality support and water safety.

Our goal for this meeting is to be informative: It is your chance to ask questions and the coaches’ opportunity to ask for your full support.

While we recognize many of the varsity parents may feel quite familiar with the procedures already, we urge you to attend as not only is it an opportunity to meet our new program director but several new coaches as well, whose expectations may differ from those of previous coaches.
