REVISED DAY TRIP ITINERARY

Dear Nordic Ski Trip Families,
We are excited for our team daytrip tomorrow, Saturday, February 9. Please see below for the final details. Please note that the order of events has changed slightly, as has the non-skiing activity, but we still have a fun and active day planned for everyone.
REVISED Trip Itinerary
7:45AM: BREAKFAST at the Hingham Community Center
9:15AM: WRAP UP AND CLEAN UP
9:30AM: DEPART FOR HARVARD STADIUM
10:15AM: ARRIVE @ HARVARD STADIUM
11:25AM: FINISH WORKOUT
NOON: LUNCH in HARVARD SQ
1:15AM: DEPART FOR WESTON SKI TRACK
2PM: WESTON SKI TRACK
4PM: DEPART FOR HHS
4:45-5PM: ESTIMATED ETA@ HHS @ the Main (Front) Parking Lot.
After the team breakfast, we’ll head into the Harvard Stadium do our AM workout. After that, chaperones and athletes will head into Harvard Square for lunch. Each athlete will be given $15 towards lunch, to spend as they chose. Athletes will be split into small groups and will be accompanied by chaperones (they will not be allowed to go around Harvard Square by themselves). After that, we’ll head to the Weston Ski Track and then leave for Hingham around 4pm. Please note, the vans will arrive at the main lot (the one in front of HHS).
What to wear?
AM Workout: Athletes should wear cold weather running/workout gear, including gloves, hats, headbands. Cold weather tights/tops should be worn under layers, including jackets, sweatpants, fleece, vests so we can go for lunch without changing.
PM Workout: Just pack extra socks for the ski boots (at least ankle high) and spare underlayers if need be. Athletes can ski in jackets, vests, fleeces, depending on their ability (new skiers will not get as hot). Gloves, neck warmers and hats are a must.
